Users’ Service and Training Department

The Department caters for:

users’ on-site and remote support and assistance in searching and locating printed and electronic documents.
organising loan services and registering new users.
inter-loaning of documentary monographs and journal articles from libraries in Greece and abroad.
inventorying and updating the printed collection.
developing a digital collection accessible to print-disabled users of the academic community and providing personalised information support to People with Disabilities (PWDs).
designing and managing users’ training: organising and running live & on-line training seminars.
writing guidelines and manuals for library resources.
supervising the photocopying service centre in Kila.
