The International and Public Relations team delivers and supports a wide range of services aimed at fostering and organising the University’s public and international relations, summarised as follows:

  • promoting educational, scientific, and research activities of the University, with brochures, academic yearbooks, acknowledgements, press and radio releases, etc.
  • being informed on University-related issues from press and other media releases
  • editing and publishing announcements and invitations and responding to University-related media releases
  • organising events, conferences, honorary awards and honours, graduation ceremonies, new students welcome, press conferences and other formal events
  • supporting academic relations and exchanges with other HEIs, in cooperation with competent University services
  • hosting international partners
  • collaborating with the University Governance bodies for planning and developing Internationalisation Strategies
  • implementing Internationalisation Strategies
  • preparing, reporting and organising international relations and partnerships with academic and research institutions abroad
  • overseeing promotion, coordination and management of international Cooperation Agreements
  • being informed of the international latest developments in Higher Education and taking relevant initiatives
  • encouraging and supporting partnerships in European networks
  • communicating with international universities and research organisations to enhance bilateral relations and address mobility-related issues
  • delivering information on EU Education and Exchange Programmes
  • managing bilateral agreements under the Erasmus + Education Programmes (i) student and staff mobility for education, training and teaching, (ii) Erasmus+ International Mobility etc.
  • providing guidance to student, teacher and staff Mobility participants
  • coordinating, managing and monitoring actions of international partnership and exchange programmes and organising teaching staff and student exchange programmes
  • delivering information on opportunities and prospects offered by European educational programmes
  • preparing and issuing brochures, course guides and other information material for visiting foreign staff
  • organising international meetings / conferences
  • participating in international organisations, associations and university networks
  • participating in international exhibitions
